It is similar to Italian latte, but made with drip- or more popularly french press pot coffee instead of espresso and with scalded instead of steamed milk in 1:1 ratio.

Café con leche - Café con leche (from spanish, literally "coffee with milk".) Analogous to the french Café au lait, café con leche is a Spanish coffee beverage consisting of scalded milk and coffee in a 1:1 ratio, often served with cinnamon and sugar.
